A simple hotel in the centre of Alcañiz. The staff were friendly and the covered terrace was nice. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. The room was quite small and had no window looking outside. There was a funny smell, but turning on the air‑co helped.

At the reception/bar no English was spoken; with the help of Google Translate we got instructions on how to enter the adjacent building to reach the room. Breakfast was not possible, the booking did not show that the bar was closed on Sunday, so you couldn’t have breakfast. If we had known, we wouldn’t have booked. The room had been recently smoked, it was not fresh. So open the windows first for 'fresh' air with outside 38 °C.

The staff were friendly, the location was good, the rooms were a bit small but very clean. If you’re a motorcyclist, special mention for the parking. The owner is the regional boss of the Harley Davidson club. We had one problem with one motorcycle and he found a solution on a Sunday. Kudos for his hospitality. We will come back. Nothing negative.
