I had the iron fixed quickly and the staff were clean and friendly, going out of their way to help me. Nothing else to mention.

The equipment was new and the cleaning was thorough, and the staff were kind and helpful. Standing in front of the elevator, the fluorescent light flickered, which was harsh for my insomnia and made the night difficult.

The shower booth was good and the sink placement was functional. I would have appreciated at least one bottle of bottled water.

Parking and the hotel connection are very convenient.

The hotel sits super conveniently about a minute’s walk north from Deoksan Station, practically attached to the station, so lugging luggage was a breeze. Opened in 2024, the rooms feel larger than typical Japanese business hotels and the décor and fixtures are brand‑new. The bathroom layout is especially good, with separate dry and wet zones and independent shower, sink and toilet, making it much more comfortable to use. There’s also an artificial‑hot‑spring large bath, which is a real plus for travelers on multi‑day business trips. The biggest issue, however, is the overwhelming smoke smell throughout the property; even in a non‑smoking room, the corridor, elevator and the room itself still carried a strong tobacco odor that simple cleaning or deodorising couldn’t erase. My pre‑existing respiratory problems flared up noticeably, and after returning to Taiwan I developed an acute upper‑respiratory infection. I can’t say the smell was the sole cause, but such persistent smoke is extremely unfriendly to anyone with asthma, allergies or other breathing issues, so you really need to think twice before booking if you’re sensitive. It’s especially disappointing that a brand‑new 2024 hotel with fresh equipment already has such a pronounced smoke residue.
