“Gorgeous setting, great facilities”
The facilities were solid, the location convenient, and the rooms clean and comfortable. A few minor maintenance issues popped up, but the staff fixed them quickly. Service was generally good, and breakfast food was decent. We appreciated the upgraded honeymoon room and the nightly beach ambiance created by the hotel. The tip system at breakfast felt odd; we were asked to sign a yes/no for a costly tip each day on a £0 bed‑and‑breakfast bill, which was unpleasant. Basic items were often missing at breakfast—no spoon for yogurt, no coffee spoon, no milk—small things that would make the experience smoother. For the price, I’d expect better coffee options and not have to pay for refills in the room every day.
