Shangri-La Chiang Mai

The staff made my stay exceptional and special, and the hotel’s decor is nice. The facilities are amazing, the location is perfect, but the gym is just okay and needs a serious upgrade.

“Perfect!”

The building’s architecture and design are stunning, and the grounds, pool, and spa are second to none. My room was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the pillows were the highlight. The food from several nations was fresh and delicious, and I praised the chefs and staff. The concierge Nu and Benz, the reception team, and a gentleman who communicated with me before my stay were exemplary. Thank you, Shangri‑la team, for making my stay a wonderful memory! ❤️ Checking out 😔

“A good stay but missing the extraordinary factor”

The staff were amazing—warm, friendly, and eager to help—but the mattress felt a bit hard for my taste, and on two separate occasions they mixed up our food orders, one of which involved an allergy concern.

“Shangri La is a standout and lives up to its name. Exceptional staff, the staff here is what really makes this place spe”

The rooms are very spacious, and maintenance is beautiful throughout. Staff are exceptional from baggage to reception to restaurants and cleaning. Breakfast is vast and great. The TVs are full smart TVs with Netflix and YouTube, which many places don’t have, and that’s essential if it’s raining and you’re staying indoors for a few hours, so I’m very happy about that. Nothing to dislike.
