Dating from 1851, the Tudor‑style Old Coach House is a 4‑star boutique guest house on Blackpool’s quiet South Shore. It offers free Wi‑Fi, free parking, and a garden‑view lounge bar. En‑suite rooms feature flat‑screen TVs, DVD players, tea/coffee facilities, and some include four‑poster beds and separate baths. Sandcastle Water Park and South Pier lie five minutes away; Pleasure Beach is a ten‑minute walk.

Kath gave us a very warm welcome, took time to explain the breakfast routine, and showed us our superior ground‑floor room. The tea and coffee facilities had a kettle, and we could park off‑road right outside our window, which was handy and secure. We loved everything about our 5‑night stay in a friendly atmosphere with hosts Kath and Rick. There is nothing we’d dislike about this wonderful, character‑filled accommodation.

The building is a dream for lovers of historic architecture, its rich past shining through in a confident yet understated elegance. Even though we arrived on one of the busiest weekends of the year, the price was surprisingly fair for its spot near the Pleasure Beach Resort. Kath and Rick were superb hosts, delivering a personal touch that made the stay even better. I’ll definitely book again when I return to Blackpool.

Everything was perfect – the rooms were spotless, warm, and cozy. Kath and Rick were fantastic hosts, and parking was no problem thanks to the off‑road spot. We stayed in the king room, which felt like the best one we’ve ever had in Blackpool. 👍 Nothing we didn’t like.
