The place is right by the subway entrance and tucked inside a bustling market, so grabbing fresh fruit or a quick bite was a breeze. Unfortunately the cleanliness left a lot to be desired – the sink still had obvious dark stains from before and it looked like the cleaning crew missed it entirely. It’s a handy spot if you don’t mind a bit of grime.

The team at the front desk went out of their way to help me, especially since it was my first time in the city – they were genuinely accommodating. On the downside, the hotel sits a little away from the main sights, though there’s a metro station just a short walk away that makes getting around manageable.

I liked that the hotel is a short stroll from the metro and set in a quiet neighborhood, which made evenings pretty relaxing. The only hiccup was the Wi‑Fi; it dropped out now and then, but it was usable enough for checking emails.
