“Wishing the weather was better...”

We’ve always chosen the Crusader when we visit Wildwood, starting back around 2010 when our kids were small. The rooms stay spotless—clean bathrooms, fresh towels, crisp sheets, and pillows. The staff are consistently professional, friendly, and quick to fix any issue. This year, now that our children are in college, my wife and I booked two nights for the Car Show weekend (9/25‑9/27). Unfortunately that weekend coincided with a nasty Nor'easter, so we left at 5am Saturday to avoid flooding. The weather was the only downside.

The hotel was very nice, though the elevator moved a bit slowly—nothing terrible, but an upgrade would help.

The room was comfortable and clean, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great.

We were on the first floor, and when the hotel wasn’t full they asked if we could move to a higher floor, which we declined; the staff then kept cleaning the pool right outside our window.
