“I did not stay here because I was refused entry on account of being a foreign citizen”
Had a bit of a mess when I checked in - they wouldn't let me in because I didn't have proof of Indian residency, which I wish they'd mentioned before I booked. Turns out this hotel only takes Indian residents, not foreigners. On top of that, the entrance is pretty tricky to navigate with a stick, what with the steep steps up to the pavement and more steps down to the lift that takes you to reception. And from the outside, it looks like the place is closed.
