The newly renovated room was nice, and breakfast was plentiful. The entrance didn’t feel very welcoming. The beds were just weeds. The windows from the outside were very unkempt and dirty.

There was a vegan option at breakfast. From the bathroom ventilation, kitchen food smells constantly leaked into the room, sometimes throughout the whole room. The TV didn’t work. No trash bin in the room, only in the bathroom. Nowadays every mini‑hotel has a water bottle—this one didn’t. Suddenly, on and off, there was scalding hot water while showering. A empty deposit bottle was taken from the room.

Breakfast was good, reasonable for the price and comparable to the hotel standard. Unfortunately breakfast was only available from 8:00 am, with no exceptions for longer day trips, like hikes or bike rides. 7:30 am would have been preferable.

The breakfast was good and always refilled, there were plenty of parking spaces, a bike garage with charging options, a covered terrace area, and the restaurant food was very good. The location right on the main road with through traffic made it very loud, but with the windows and balcony door closed it was absolutely quiet thanks to new windows and doors. It would have been nice to have scrambled and/or fried eggs at breakfast, and there were no storage options in the bathroom.

“Fijn verblijf. Perfect als doorreisadres.”

It was very clean, parking was easy, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. It was a pity that the hot kitchen closed at 20:30 and the bar at 22:00.
