“Great stay”

I loved this hotel. Traveling solo made it perfect for me. It’s very close to a smaller train station that takes you to Lucca and Florence, just a ten‑minute walk, and about a 25‑minute walk to Pisa Central. The tower itself is only a five‑minute walk away. I felt very safe in the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly, doing everything they could for me. The rooms were basic but very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely come back. It would be nice to have tea and coffee with a kettle in the rooms and water in the fridge.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean and what you would expect for the price. I feel bad leaving this review as I've never left a bad review before. I only booked the hotel because it advertised an airport shuttle service, but after booking I was told that it didn’t exist. I was using an e‑SIM with no phone number attached, so I asked the receptionist if she could book me a taxi to the airport the next morning. She said I would need to use an app and book in the morning, and I was worried there would be no taxis available, but she assured me there would be. When I tried to book, no taxis were available as I feared. I had to walk to the station with all my luggage at 4.30 am, which was a bit dodgy as a solo female. Unfortunately there were no taxis at the taxi rank either. Eventually I managed to flag one down and only just made my flight after much stress. Please update the website to note that there is no airport shuttle service or provide valid backup options for customers who book on that basis.

Excellent location, close to the main sights and the train station. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels are replaced. The staff are pleasant and responsive, with special thanks to Daniela!

The location is a bit peripheral, yet still fairly close to the tower and the cathedral. The staff were pleasant, the room was quite spacious, the bathroom comfortable, and the price was good for the quality.
