What really stood out was the host’s personality, which seemed to permeate the whole place; even on my first visit I felt relaxed and had a great time, like visiting a relative’s home, and I absolutely want to come back. The only downside was that the toilet window is open for ventilation, so insects—mostly moths—enter the room, which can be a bit nerve‑wracking if you’re not used to it.

The owner was very friendly. He shared food with me and all the guests and gave me travel suggestions. Cozy atmosphere make it easy to meet and talk with other guests. The view on the rice terrace is nice. The house is close to Obasute station but it's in a very inconvenient place. Trains usually more than 1h apart, and the nearest conbini is down the rice terrace

The place feels very homey, but the shower facilities are a bit lacking.

The spot has great potential and a very scenic view; we were the only guests and the staff kindly put us in the same room. Unfortunately, the place seemed neglected and not very clean.
