Very nice hosts who were there right when we arrived, letting us park the car in the driveway. Walking to the Sassi takes about 5 minutes and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The room had an Italian feel and we’re grateful to Irma and Cosimo. Nothing to complain about.

Cozy little farmhouse, personally decorated, with plenty of space. Spotlessly clean and fresh. Very cozy with a small courtyard. The host was very pleasant. Perfect lodging when visiting the amazing Matera, especially if you have a car because parking is available in the courtyard. A 5‑minute walk into the old town.

A hidden spot right near the center, with a friendly and helpful host (Cosimo). You can start walking around the city immediately.
