“One of a kind, special traditional respites”
From the moment we arrived, the traditional atmosphere and decor impressed us, and the staff’s kindness stayed with us until we left. Our room served as the perfect mid‑trip break, featuring a seating area that overlooked a lovely garden. Both the on‑site onsen and the open‑air baths across the street were fantastic. Dinner and breakfast were meticulously prepared, with the sukiyaki made from hida beef standing out. The staff were hardworking and kind, making this a special visit that I’d recommend—worth the bus ride from Matsumoto via Kamikochi.
