The eggs at breakfast were okay, but they ran out and it took a while for anyone to refill them. Check‑in and check‑out were quick, which was nice. I appreciated that they were pet‑friendly so I could bring my dog. I loved the location, it was near a lot of things like the Alamo, good restaurants, Warren County Fairgrounds, farmers markets, etc. The staff I and my mother dealt with were really annoying, to be honest. Even though we passed the same man multiple times he kept asking us every time for our room number, and I questioned whether or not I should give it to him because it felt almost creepy. I didn’t feel safe leaving the room without my dog, even though she was small, just because he came off wrong, and you can never be too safe in this economy. If he asked once or twice, that’s okay, but 4‑5 times in less than 10 minutes is excessive (we were carrying loads of things into the room from an event we attended). Breakfast is free, but expect it to take you 30 minutes‑1 hour to get anything if you didn’t get there first. There’s only one person checking people in/out and restocking food very slowly. The breakfast itself was mediocre, which is fine since it’s free, but your only choices each day are freeze‑dried eggs, toast, cereal, waffles (there’s only one waffle maker which is hard to get to past the kids), and pork sausage that has bones in every bite. The room was terribly nasty. It was not cleaned well at all, and it was so dirty that my mother and I actually had to clean it upon entering. The sink/bathtub kept clogging up and wouldn’t drain, and the door‑blocker lock on the was broken which was terrifying at night. The beds were really hard and the pillows felt like they disintegrated underneath us. When my mother and I were trying to leave and pack the car, the same man who had been following us around the day before asked us a total of six times when we plan on checking out, and we told him every time as soon as we brought out the last load of our things (I’m 8.5 months pregnant and my mother is handicapped, so it took us a few trips). It genuinely just felt like he was pestering us the entire time, and other than him the staff seemed nice, but he was the one we saw 80 % of the time.

Convenient location, good parking, large room. Low water pressure in the shower, bad scrambled eggs at breakfast, bugs in the room (not bed bugs).

The spot was perfect, right next to a bunch of restaurants and shops. Breakfast was good, and the room even had a waffle maker. The staff were super helpful and went out of their way. The room stocked a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave, so I had everything I needed. Everything else was just fine.

The place was clean and the breakfast was nice, but the bed was a nightmare.
