“Exceptional experience”

This is by far the most outstanding accommodation in Madagascar. Even worldwide it would be hard to find a comparable luxury private experience at this price, so take the chance. The huge villa has only four rooms in total (perfect for groups or families up to eight people) and very spacious common areas. We travelled as a couple and were lucky to be the only booking at that time, so we had the whole villa and a personal chef as private space. The villa sits directly on a clean beach with an amazing ocean view and direct beach access. Waves are never big (even with strong wind), so swimming is possible at all times. In the morning you share the beach with friendly local fishermen doing their business, but in the afternoon it’s totally empty. The property offers many fully private spaces if desired. The best was the team, especially Rosa (who took care of us from morning until evening), the chef, and all the other helpers were amazing. Food was cooked to our wishes, of perfect quality, creating a real fine‑dining experience. All design elements are well‑thought and create an overall luxury impression that is even beyond most 5‑star standards. In summary: it was a perfect honeymoon experience and we’re fully relaxed and ready to continue our round trip. Everything was perfect. Local kids at the beach are friendly; some could be a bit demanding, but with clear instructions the situation was resolved.

“Possibly the best hotel in Madagascar.”

The most stunning hotel in a fantastic location. The calm and relaxing environment with gorgeous views across the Indian Ocean was exactly what we needed after a few weeks traveling in Madagascar. The staff were exceptional—Rosah the maître d’hôtel was excellent, a brilliant mix of attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The chef was wonderful and all of the food was delicious and he catered to our dietary requirements with no issues. The manager was lovely, friendly and professional, willing to help with tasks such as sourcing sun cream and booking taxis and excursions. The facilities were lovely, the pool was stunning, not heated, but the cold dips were refreshing with the heat and the direct access to the beach with the warm sea made swimming in warm water easy. Overall a fantastic location with a fantastic team; we would happily return. Nothing at all.

“Good place to relax”

The house looked great, the view from the pool was beautiful and the pool itself was super relaxing. The chef deserves a shout‑out – the food was the best I've had in Madagascar. We had booked a partial sea view, but when we got there we were given a garden view instead. After pointing it out, the staff offered to move us to a different room. The room had no air‑conditioning, only a fan, and it was pretty loud.

The house was gorgeous, the room had a fantastic view, and the breakfast was tasty. The staff were very friendly. The menu didn’t list prices, the portions were quite small, the cocktails were disappointing, and the payment process was overly complicated.
