The jungle location is perfect for wildlife spotting, and Amir is attentive, sharing Malaysian culture in many ways. The accommodation is basic, which isn’t a problem but could be a bit more polished.

I had a fantastic time with Amir in the jungle. He welcomed me warmly and showed me around, engaging with locals. Sleeping while listening to wildlife and the river was wonderful. Highly recommend!
Awesome place to stay in the middle of nature, close to the waterfalls. The local community is very friendly and welcoming. Wildlife around the property, beautiful pet cats and eating options on the main road. Secluded river pools just 1 min away. Thank you Amir for sharing your space, bro!. That I ran out of time and couldn't stay longer

The setting is natural, so you’ll hear Mother Nature’s sounds in the morning, which is great. The outdoor kitchen is fully equipped, and I’d recommend exploring the jungle for a memorable experience. The larger supermarkets are a bit far, so plan ahead if you’re staying longer. Also, some guests have high expectations; it’s just a simple tent, so don’t expect five‑star service.

Devalley Basecamp has become our top choice on all our trips. It sits in a tranquil area surrounded by trees and wildlife, offering a relaxing break. The area offers river swims, a local warung with great food and drinks, and hikes suggested by Amir.
