“If all you need is a comfortable bed at a low price”

The room was cheap enough that the worn‑out look makes sense, and the bed with its fluffy pillows was surprisingly comfortable. Front desk staff were quick to help and even accommodated a few personal requests. The building itself feels old and could really use some updating.

Scored a room in Calgary for the Stampede that didn’t break the $300 barrier, which was a relief. The downside was that the room itself was in pretty rough shape—things felt worn and not well‑maintained. Good price, but the condition left a lot to be desired.

“Nice sleep”

I slept well on the comfy bed and the front desk folks were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, I discovered a strand of hair in the shower before I even turned the water on, and the nightly rate was a bit higher than I’d hoped. Overall, the stay was mixed.

“Terrible”

Not much to praise here – the linens had burn holes, the sink needed a good scrub, and the shower floor was cracked. The carpet was torn near the bathroom door, the door handle didn’t line up, the shower rod was about to fall, and even the toilet paper dispenser was filthy. With all those safety and cleanliness issues, I can’t see this being worth the money I paid.
