Several rooms were available in an otherwise rarely used house, and the spacious common areas were great for self‑service. The host was very friendly, flexible, and helpful, and the French breakfast was extensive (though it lacked sausage, cheese, and eggs). The drive was tricky because the GPS didn’t recognize the address and the name on Booking didn’t match the sign on site. Keep in mind that walking into the village takes about 30 minutes and climbs over 100 meters, but the view over Beynac Castle is especially beautiful.
Excellent reception and a magnificent setting—highly recommended.
