“Nice place to stay, check you unit thoroughly on check-in.”

The front desk staff were welcoming, and ringing the bell at the gate worked better than dialing the listed numbers, which never answered. The bed was comfortable and an extra blanket was tucked in the cupboard. The info sheet claimed a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, and kettle, yet the microwave lacked its glass turntable and there was no kettle at all. The staff offered to bring a kettle the next morning, but the coffee I’d already missed was awful.

“Value for money except the manually controlled entrance gate - this requires some improvement.”

Breakfast isn’t offered at this Guest House. The main gate is padlocked, which feels unsafe when guests leave for dinner and return late; they must wait for someone to unlock it, a risky situation where thieves could target them while the gate remains closed. The gate should be remote‑controlled.

The bed was comfy, but the yard was a mess with a disheveled washing line at the room entrance, and the premises were poorly maintained. No kettle or coffee in the room, no remote gate for safety, and the noise at night and early morning was relentless.

“Ir was okay. Not great, but not terrible”

The one good thing about this place was the level of privacy we had - it was really quite good. However, the room itself was a major disappointment. For what they advertise as a Deluxe Queen Room, it was tiny, and to make matters worse, there were no cups or glasses provided. We also had to wait hours for the hot water to come on, which was really frustrating.
