Hotel Pałac Alexandrinum

I stayed at a beautiful palace with a park, but the sauna felt a bit too cold.

The hotel sits in a great, quiet spot and a short drive away from the permit office. The "Palace" building is stunningly designed, and the overall vibe is excellent. Breakfast was superb, and we had dinner at the hotel restaurant where some dishes like the risotto and soup were outstanding. The spa area is also very nice and relaxing. Before arrival, we were asked which building we wanted to stay in and requested the Palace, yet we were still placed in the Residence building. Though the Residence is new, the rooms are very plain and poorly maintained: in the bathroom the black paint peels (no ceramic), the vent didn’t work, and the air‑conditioner didn’t cool even though it was very hot (the front desk said it wasn’t set to cooling). Because of many mosquitoes in the area, windows couldn’t be opened for ventilation. Additionally, the stairwell at the entrance is used as a storage, the spa area is overcrowded and not suitable for the number of guests, and the outdoor jacuzzi didn’t work. In the restaurant, some dishes were inedible, such as pasta that was almost raw.

The place is pretty nice, but the hotel often hosts loud weddings, so keep that in mind. It was pleasant.

The property’s location in a beautiful setting, the excellent breakfasts, and the very nice, well‑maintained facility all impressed me. I liked everything.
