“Good place and location to stay”
The place is great, just off the main road to Kinabalu National Park. The stay was comfortable. We liked the window in our room. The town is charming, and the walk up Mt Perahu offers amazing views. The rooms are basic but offer good value.
“Spartaans”
The hotel sits just outside the busy Kota Kinabalu area, so you’re off to the next destination quickly the next morning. Sleeping under fleece blankets with hair on them was unpleasant. The room didn’t smell good. The entrance to the rooms was through a strange back door where we saw a rat running away. When we flushed the toilet, water splashed out the back of the bowl into the bathroom. Showering was almost impossible without touching the toilet. I’m used to rough conditions, but this was extremely Spartan. Definitely not worth the rating I saw on Booking.
“Semplice ma accogliente”
The stay was essential and quiet. There was no toilet paper and no hot water.
Bilik kotor,berhabuk,bau,.tandas juga kotor,,air shower sgt2 kecil.wifi no internet
The owners went out of their way to make our short stay as comfortable as possible—letting us eat dinner in their restaurant next to the hotel even though it was already closed. Service was 10/10.
