Remember this is a budget hotel, so you only get what you pay for; it could be better, cleaner, or more centrally located, but the current spot isn’t bad; Blackpool itself feels drab and outdated, like the UK, with no energy or ambition; I keep saying you get what you pay for—I've stayed in hotels three times pricier than this one where the price covers just soap and clean towels, yet a sense of decline hangs in the air, like a former beauty queen who, despite aging and wrinkles, insists on wearing a miniskirt.
