The setting of the accommodation is very nice. It could have been cleaner; spider webs were in the corners and some cables were loose in the room, posing a tripping hazard. The staff seemed to lack culinary knowledge, and the buffet was only refilled upon request, causing long waits for dinner.

“HOIATUS!”

We followed Waze directions to the lodging. There were no clear signs, and the road to the property was a poorly maintained forest track. Upon arrival we saw a boarded‑up house with doors open; for about ten minutes no one was around. Then a man appeared, who seemed heavily intoxicated and didn’t understand our purpose. I showed him the booking confirmation, but he told us to wait and went upstairs. On the lower floor, where we had to wait, the smell of rot, dust, and alcohol made the environment unbearable. He then escorted us to another floor, where there was no room with a balcony as we had booked. The room was boarded and unclean, windows lacked curtains, furniture was heavily stained, and some ceilings were partially damaged. The space had a strong cigarette and dust odor. All the negative feedback about this lodging is accurate. I saw all of this with my own eyes. We left and did not use the booking.

The staff were fantastic; we were welcomed warmly and entertained well, so we’ll definitely return.

“Sehr ruhige, abgeschiedenen Unterkunft auf dem Berg”

The staff were friendly and always tried to take care of us. Breakfast and meals were good, and drinks were also provided. The setting up on the mountain is very quiet and secluded. The beds in the wedding suite were very comfortable, but they also squeaked loudly when you moved in them. Still, we’ll probably stay there again.

The location is gorgeous and they are very kind to dogs.
