The location of this hotel is actually pretty great – it's right in the heart of downtown Helen.
The staff at the front desk were super friendly and helpful
The heated pool and hot tub were definite highlights of my stay
The breakfast was a sad affair, with a selection that looked like it belonged in a prison cafeteria

The building is old. It was too expensive for the poor breakfast and the room had a bad smell; the bathroom was old and ugly.
The staff were friendly and the indoor pool was nice, but the bathroom and floors in the room could have been much cleaner.

The AC and TV worked well, and when I asked for an extra blanket—there was only a sheet and a thin bedspread—the blanket was already waiting in the room after breakfast. The water took a while to heat up, and there was no cable provider, just streaming channels, which I understand is more cost‑effective.

There was plenty to choose from for breakfast! We enjoyed the pool and the service was great! I don’t think anything could have been better. The cleaners were quick to get us anything we needed!
