We were warmly welcomed, the setting is lovely and quiet, and the Sri Lankan breakfast was great. It’s a good base for a safari to Yala National Park and you can book it on site; the owner is a solid ranger. We saw Sri Lanka’s big five on a day safari. The room is simple, yet it has everything you need.

The location is quiet with rice‑field views, and the owners—along with a beautiful couple—guided us on a full day safari, following Thalinda the owner’s recommendations. For the price there was nothing we didn’t like.
