The room was lovely with a comfy bed, and having gluten‑free biscuits in the room was a nice touch. Breakfast was great and the staff made us feel very welcome, though the bathroom floorboards creaked a bit, which is expected in an old farmhouse.

The place is a real treasure – immaculate throughout, the owners are delightful, breakfast is mouth‑watering with every imaginable option, and I couldn't find a single flaw; I’ll definitely come back if we head to Devon again.

“A warm Welcome with a glorious breakfast.”

From the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcomed, and a fridge in the entrance hall stocked fresh milk for us. Every morning offered a superb breakfast spread with generous portions of fresh, tasty dishes, and the house’s location is ideal for exploring Barnstable, the countryside, cliffs, and beaches. We enjoyed a fantastic stay – thank you. The only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer.

“Lovely stay and we would gladly come again.”

The hosts greeted us with genuine warmth, and breakfast was deliciously fresh with plenty of options, including a wonderful fruit salad. The beds were extremely comfortable, and our twin room was exceptionally clean, as was the en‑suite bathroom. The only issue was that our room faced the main road; although the windows were open and the traffic was noticeable early on, closing the double‑glazed windows eliminated the noise.

“I would recommend this place”

Breakfast was excellent, the setting is quiet yet still central to North Devon, and there is ample parking space. Not much else to add.
