The grounds were lovely, but unfortunately, our stay was marred by some major issues. We arrived in February to find that there was no heating or hot water, which made for a pretty miserable first night. It took until around 10am the next morning for the owner to sort out the problem, which was apparently due to a forgotten gas bottle.

We had a fantastic time at this lodge, despite the weather not being on our side. The owner had thoughtfully left us a welcome package with some lovely wine, beer, and sweets, which was a nice touch. The lodge itself was a great size and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I'd definitely recommend booking this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

I was really looking forward to our stay at this lodge, but unfortunately, it was a bit of a letdown. The place itself was nice, but it was clear that it hadn't been properly cleaned in a while. When I arrived, I was told that the barbecue wasn't working, which was a bit of a bummer since I'd bought meat specifically for it. The outdoor area was also pretty neglected, with broken chairs and a lot of cobwebs.

We had a mixed experience at this lodge. On the plus side, the beds were really comfortable and the owner was friendly and helpful. The location was also pleasant, with some nice views to enjoy. However, there were a few issues that let the place down. The bedrooms hadn't been properly cleaned, with food and rubbish still lying around, and the barbecue was in a pretty poor state. To top it all off, the TVs were a bit outdated.
