The structure is semi‑new and very pretty to look at even though the work isn’t finished yet. The pier is great for sunsets or swimming. The cost is high compared to the real value of what is offered. The food is good but sometimes too little and not very varied. The menu is fixed, so you have no choice; there is no restaurant with a menu, they give you what they have and it isn’t always enough.
“Although the bungalows were very nice, they were never cleaned unless specifically requested. The only positive thing wa”
The place feels like a construction site, with trash scattered beside the bungalows. The bungalows themselves are pretty nice, but they only get cleaned if you ask. The staff, including the guys who took us on the tours, were generally friendly, but the manager, Lala, was very unfriendly and unprofessional. She only spoke to guests to ask for money, never to say hello, and spent almost the whole day slumped on the sofas scrolling on her phone. In the mornings, she even showed up after we had already started breakfast.
“Un paradiso”
First off, the staff were very helpful, kind, and welcoming. The new bungalows look great, with careful furnishings; no air conditioning, but that wasn’t an issue, and a fan is available in the room. The food is good, and the excursions are excellent. There’s a beautiful coral reef right in front of the beach. I would have liked daily room cleaning. Even though the food was fine, portions were sometimes too small, especially since the hotel chose to have dinner with other guests at shared tables.
“Buona esperienza ma con difetti”
The structure is new and welcoming, run by local families (one of the few resorts) and works with the families in the village across the street. The staff and the guys who accompany you on excursions are friendly and helpful. The coral reef right under the pier is beautiful and the setting is great; from the pier you can see the sunset. They organize daily excursions. There are common areas where you can do activities with other guests and the local family that lives next door. Wifi and electricity are always available. Unfortunately, there is no room cleaning service, but a broom is provided for self‑cleaning. The shower water is always cold. Some meals were disappointing, especially the breakfasts which were too scanty. The girl who runs everything has a somewhat unfriendly manner, only approaching guests to ask for the balance of drinks or excursions. All these flaws would be tolerable if the price weren’t so high. The place presents itself as a resort, but it really isn’t. It would just need to lower prices a bit and change the presentation style. They’re also building more rooms, cutting down many trees and overly altering the surrounding flora.
“Abbastanza alto per gli standard delle Tojan”
The hotel is new and comfortable. However, the meals are not up to par, except on the last day when, at my request, they served fish for both lunch and dinner. The staff is friendly except for the manager Lala, who, behind false smiles, hides an unusual indifference for these parts. Still, in front of the resort there’s a nice reef, and beyond the adjacent resort there’s a beach where you can sunbathe at any time of day. All in all, it’s definitely a place to consider. The way Lala behaves.
