It was a very cozy place to stay in silence, right near a waterfall, and I couldn’t find anything negative.

“Cute place but needs some attention to detail”

The accommodation was cute with a well‑maintained pool and pretty lights that lit the area at night. However, we arrived an hour past check‑in time and the room wasn’t ready; there seemed to be confusion about our booking even though we’d booked well in advance. We finally checked in after waiting 20 minutes. The room itself was fine, but it only had one coffee mug and no teaspoon, no toilet paper, the bidet had weak pressure, and the duvet had no cover.

“Good for a short stay”

The location was peaceful, but the hotel isn’t central to Datong and the chalets are quite compact.

“Overall we had a great stay at Sentosa palace. Just some minor improvements :)”

1. It’s near Gunung Stong where we want to climb and see the sunrise. It’s not too far from the town. It’s peaceful with very less noise. 2. The staff/caretaker was very friendly and provides us assistance during check-in. 3. The room has water heater and the toilet is very clean. There are clean towels provided as well. 4. The bed mattress is comfortable. 5. The view is quite nice, we can see the waterfalls. 1. There’s only one chair provided. 2. There’s only one small mat at the toilet’s door and there’s none for the main door. If it rains and you’re from outside, you will have to wipe your foot with tissue or towel. 3. An electric kettle is provided but there’s no mug or at least a pair of glasses we can use to make coffee or tea. 4. The pillows looks like having molds :(

The toilet was clean, but the trash bin was a bit small; it would be better if a floor mat were placed at the front door as well, not just in front of the toilet.
