The only good thing at this hotel was the restaurant staff, who really tried to accommodate and please, and they had an amazing approach to guests, which is unfortunately the only positive here. The 4‑star hotel has no front desk, faults and problems are handled by a Ukrainian‑speaking maid or restaurant staff, if that’s what you can call it. After a long journey, dinner is served as a buffet of other guests’ leftovers; in winter they’ll offer you a cold salad and tartare made from tvarůžky, which you won’t appreciate, as well as cold water in the room and the heating doesn’t start even after you turn it on. Cold water still ran in the morning, according to the reception, the restaurant staff were supposed to resolve it but they sent us to the reception, which was open from 8 to 20 or to an emergency phone number nobody answered. Breakfast was declared perfect but it was mediocre: the bread was at least 2 days old, one type of sausage, some cheese, yogurt, and 2 types of sweet pastries, coffee was on request and you had to make tea yourself. In short, I would not rate this hotel even as a three‑star, let alone a four‑star.
