“Mauvaise expérience”

The restaurant was good. We had a room with a damp smell; the floor was very wet, even during the night. In the morning we noticed water from the toilet leaking into the room. We didn't say anything to avoid bothering staff. As we left, the situation worsened, and we informed reception without complaining about the smell and water. Later we received a harsh email saying we left the room in a deplorable state and that we had to pay for damages—an absurd claim, given that we had reported the toilet leak. They told us we should have warned them earlier, yet we had warned them when we were leaving to avoid trouble. No apology or offer for a discount was given.

The establishment was perfect, very clean, and extremely well located. The literary vibe, the equipment, the welcoming service, and the staff's friendliness made our weekend very pleasant.

“Zentral, aber anonym”

The room was very spacious and nicely designed. The breakfast buffet offered a large selection, although the café, egg dishes, and pancakes did not suit our taste. The pool was very small; when it was crowded it was noisy and there were too few loungers and towels. In the evening a fire alarm went off, so we had to wake our child. We stood in the rain on the street and no one came to explain what to do. After 15 minutes we were sent back to our room without explanation. The next morning we received no apology or any personal information.

“Ressourçant !”

A quiet spot right in the heart of Brest, the tent area felt very zen; the pool, sauna, tea room, and jacuzzi were all brand‑new and excellent, and the breakfast selection was varied. The only downside was that the kettle in the room didn’t work.

The location was great, but the lack of a wheelchair‑accessible room, the gym being too small, and the missing towel at the pool were disappointing.
