Location. Spacious accommodation. Refrigerator with a variety of drinks, cold coffee and fruit at no extra cost. Quiet surroundings. The sofa is worn and very uncomfortable. Mattress could be better. Ceiling cleaning could be improved. Excessive exterior night lighting.

The location is great for disconnecting and being surrounded by nature, but the bar was closed during our dates and you have to travel somewhere else to buy anything.

The place, the surroundings, the calm, the facilities, and especially the person who showed us around were all excellent; it’s a good alternative to staying in the pilgrim hostel if you’re on the Camino and don’t want to stay at the Albergue de Peregrinos. However, if you follow the map directions you’ll pass through the village of Vilariño Frío on a muddy dirt track that’s very unpassable, and about 20 m from Couso Relax it becomes impassable, forcing you to turn back and walk another 10 km. I mention this because I had a support car, my wife drove it while I walked the Camino, and we used the opportunity to visit the nearby wonders of the Ribera Sacra and the Cañones del Sil.

The lodge was fantastic in the middle of nature, and we really liked it!

The village is very pretty and set in a very peaceful environment that invites you to relax. The facilities are quite outdated; the room jacuzzi jets don’t work, the sofa is very uncomfortable, and the landscaped areas need a bit of care.
