A private room near Besançon’s center and train stations offers a bed‑and‑breakfast setting with garden, terrace, and complimentary Wi‑Fi. Guests enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, barbecue, outdoor dining area, dining table, sofa bed, and parquet floors. Situated under 1 km from Besançon‑Mouillère station, it’s a short walk to the museum, cathedral, and city attractions.

The property offers four individual rooms for rent. The shower is shared with other guests and the toilet is separate from the bathroom, both kept in good order. There is also a shared kitchen with modern facilities. It is a reasonably short walk into Besancon and a small supermarket a few minutes away by walking has everything. The large garden area at the rear of the property is a bit overgrown, but speaking with the owners they’re just starting out as a rental business and the garden is one of the future projects. I suggested a pedestal‑style fan because it was hot when I was in Besancon.

We never got in touch with the host; she sent an email right before we reached the door saying the room wasn’t available after all. She told us to request a refund directly through Booking. I tried replying to their “reçu mailen” but haven’t heard back yet, and I can’t find a phone number to contact them.
