The room in the pension in the center of Tamsweg was pretty and clean. Breakfast was generous and very tasty. You can park for free up to 90 minutes with a time‑stamped sign; for longer stays you need to move the car to a free lot three minutes away. The shower cabin could use shampoo and soap.

The old building had a very luxurious Austrian quality, with excellent service and a rare NOBLESA that should remain in Europe.

Breakfast was perfect, set up nicely, and a variety of dishes were offered. The staff were very courteous. The attic room was very nice. Driving to the place was inconvenient because there is no parking nearby – only a short‑term zone. The host did try to help with the “wrong parking ticket.”

I was right next to the castle and the park, and the breakfast at the family‑run Conditorei next door was top quality. The apartment was nicely renovated, got cleaned daily, and even had its own coffee maker. The only downside was that the rooms are on the first and second floors, so you have to climb stairs.
