The room was practical, bed super comfy, slept great. Staff were friendly, so for a quick stop it's decent. But it's way out of the old town, streets still unpaved, so you need a ride or a rideshare to get in or out.

The place is simple but super calm and cozy, hospitality and space are good, and the kitchen matters a lot for me since I travel by bike. No real complaints, any hiccups were fixed fast, the space is new and still getting better, plenty of potential.

The lodging sits in a quiet neighborhood, staff are friendly and helpful, and the price is good for the season. Unfortunately, on the first day the upper rooms ran out of water, the house can't handle the carnival crowds, the pump is weak, and the bathroom lacks a shower curtain so it can get messy.

The place is quiet and the AC is great. But it feels unfinished, just one person runs everything, the facilities are lacking, and it's far from everything—only a car, bike, or rideshare can get you there.

If you want a very simple spot, you might like it. But the price feels high for the daily rate, the location is hard to get to, and the lodge is still under maintenance. The place and its structure leave a lot to be desired.
