“Clean, comfortable, functional”
The location is great if you’re traveling along the M20 or M26, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The bar staff and cleaners are lovely. However, the room facilities are basic—no hairdryer, no wardrobe, just two wooden hooks, and the shower’s water pressure was pitiful. There was no breakfast, and I was somewhat unsettled by the owner literally falling down drunk in the bar. I would not stay here again.
“Very comfortable and convenient”
We cycled the North Downs Way and the hotel sat right on the route. The staff were very helpful and kind, and the room was brand‑new with everything we needed. The only downside was that there was no breakfast available.

The staff were great and the rooms were nice. We stayed for lunch, which was also very nice, and the hotel has a great exterior seating area. The downside was the smell of the drains; after a bit of water down the sink/shower it improved, but it was still noticeable. We also didn't realize there was no breakfast at this location and had to find somewhere else for it.
