Hotel Torricella

“Super Personal, aber stark in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel.”

We were greeted very warmly. Overall, the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, which somewhat offset the negatives. Hair was found in the shower and sink upon arrival, and the room didn’t look very clean. The hotel felt quite worn and old; the balcony and awning were very dilapidated, as were the plastic chairs. The interior of the reception, terrace, bar, and breakfast area seemed to have seen better days. Breakfast only offered water in plastic cups, which we found questionable. A swim cap is required for the pool, which isn’t a big deal, but the pool was quite dirty, making the cap rule feel odd.

I spent a week there with no expectations during a hot August period; the place was perfect for relaxing without city stress, convenient for nearby towns and islands, and the only issue was the lake water dropping, but otherwise the staff were great, welcoming and hospitable like few others, and I left with a sense of nostalgia that made me feel good 😉

The welcome, courtesy, and friendliness of the staff are definitely the highlight of Hotel Torricella, making you feel at home. Thanks to everyone for the fantastic stay. The only drawback is that the shower is a bit small, especially when you have an XXL husband 😜.

The location is peaceful, the room is spacious, and the breakfast is generous. Insects from outside entered the room and the pool.

“Soddisfatti”

We stayed 5 days at this hotel in a quiet spot that’s great for reaching various attractions. We were welcomed with extreme cordiality and received travel tips from the kind and caring Sara. The room was clean, fragrant, had a balcony, everything worked, and the fridge was comfortable. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. We enjoyed a choice dinner, all very good, and relaxed in the pool in the late afternoon. Thanks to all the staff! Stefania and Claudio.
