The only real upside was the close proximity to Little Red Barn breakfast restaurant. The place had a lingering smell and the entryway road to the hotel was damaged, making the approach uncomfortable. The owner seemed to be reprimanding an employee at the front counter during our initial check‑in, and I almost felt like I was the intruder, which is ironic because I was the paying customer.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a rainy and windy day; I would have liked to swim, but the high winds blew debris into the pool and it was a cooler day. Next time. The property was buried too far from the road.
