The hotel is new, hot water and shower pressure are fine, air conditioning works, and the room is large; if you want a view of Kandy, take a top‑floor room. It’s quiet. Water leaks from the shower, breakfast is too simple, and there’s no coffee or tea unless you ask.

The location is stunning, but the hotel fell short. When we arrived, our daughter’s room was dirty and the air‑con wasn’t working. We had to go back and forth with the young staff and the manager before a new room was assigned. The staff were friendly but not proactive. After a day out, breakfast plates were still on the balcony and ants were everywhere. The staff weren’t supervising, so the basics need improvement.

The hotel is nice, and the room is very comfortable, however we should have checked the location because it is quite far from the center and it is (of course) located on a hill and the road is very tricky….
