We came to unwind, and we got exactly that: absolute calm and silence that let us reconnect with ourselves. The accommodation was spot‑on, and the large lawn was amazing – I could slip off my shoes and feel the grass beneath my feet, free of thorns. Definitely a spot to relax. Kudos to the owner and his friendly, helpful staff.

“Good value”

The location was great, but if all rooms had ensuite bathrooms, it would be even better.

“Tranquil and peaceful . Time seemed to stand still .”

The villa was quiet and peaceful, clean, spacious, and cozy thanks to the fireplace, with plenty of wood always on hand. The only tweak I’d suggest is swapping the shower head for a larger one and lowering it, as the current one is too high to adjust. The fishing spots were plentiful, and Celeste and her team made the stay wonderful. Apart from the shower head and its height, everything else was great.

“Pleasant stay, fishing was poor.”

The setting was beautiful. For a "trout" farm, it was very poor. There were about 10 guys fishing each day, but only one trout was caught. I feel that it was unsatisfying and will not return because of this

“Niet aan te bevelen”

The fireplace and the lake outside were nice. The manager gave us a cold welcome and blamed us for a booking that apparently wasn’t processed, saying we had booked too late. The accommodation wasn’t ready: there was no gas, no hot water, the furniture was old and full of holes, and there was mold on the ceiling. The front door stuck and barely opened or closed. Everything felt dated and neglected, and the unfriendly receptionist made us leave after one night instead of the two we had booked.
