“Ok for short stay”

I stayed on one of the main streets, right next to local shops and restaurants that were just one street away. A large indoor shopping centre, Vincome Ba trieu, was a 2‑minute walk. I usually avoid the French old quarter because it’s a bit far to walk, but a 6‑seat taxi for a family of four adults and a baby with a stroller cost only $2‑$5, which was fine in the heat. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, and they provided water bottles daily. Breakfast was decent, featuring homemade Vietnamese soups, a local bakery, fruit, yogurt, tea, and coffee. However, the rooms and bathrooms were outdated, and every room’s front door was left open. There were a lot of mosquitoes, and I was given a room with an unbearable cigarette smell. We checked in after midnight due to a flight delay, so they assigned me a temporary room in the back with a broken shower and a stinky bathroom, which we didn’t mind at the time. The receptionist didn’t admit the cigarette smoke, which was disappointing. I didn’t want to argue, but it felt like we had to make up a story. The new bedsheets and a bag of fresh towels were stored on open shelves on the stairs or tossed directly onto the walkway floor, which made me uneasy about cleanliness. The elevator worked, but it was old and slow.

“great location, the staff was so kind & friendly”

The hotel’s location is right near the city center and close to St. Joseph Cathedral, but my room had no window.

The hotel is close to shops, quiet, and very clean, offering good value for money. It’s an older building, so accessing storage is a bit difficult because of the large bed, but it still works.

“Hôtel minable À fuir”

La proximité relative avec le lac et l’opéra. Équipements vieillots lit très très dur avec une couette trop petite pour le lit king sinze nous sommes partis 1 jour avant à cause de ça petit déjeuner minable et fenêtre de la salle de bain cassée qui laisse rentrer les moustiques. Trop cher pour ce que c’était À fuir
