The couple’s room and the individual room were fine, but the cleanliness was completely lacking; from day one the kitchen was filthy (aside from construction dust outside), making me feel uncomfortable cooking. The equipment was insufficient: no microwave or toaster, and they didn’t even leave a mop for the kitchen or a tablecloth. The bathroom had brown stains on the tiles and no hand towel or shower mat—those were only brought after two days when I asked. Maintenance was also poor: the chairs squeaked a lot, and the door didn’t close properly, requiring a lot of force to lock it. (That’s why they asked us to keep the noise down…impossible!) They offered to cancel our stay upon arrival, but we were already settled with our luggage and traveling with three kids. Finding another place last minute with the outrageous prices available wasn’t realistic. They should have cleaned and equipped the floor thoroughly before our arrival.

The house is in a very central location, I had everything I needed, the kitchen was sufficient for me, the hosts were friendly and warm, everything was good, nothing bad.

“It was a nice stay overall.”

Quiet and peaceful place; sometimes monkeys come in the early morning so keep your things inside the room. It’s on the first floor and there’s no lift; the stairs are a bit difficult.
