The place is beautiful and well‑cared for, the rooms and beds are very spacious, and breakfast is good. I had explicitly requested before arrival that towels be included in the price, and I was told yes, that it should be requested at reception but was included. At arrival, when I asked, I was charged 1€. It’s not a problem to pay 1 euro, but consistency would be better.

The reception staff were lovely, very helpful, accommodating, and always smiling. Breakfast is included and offers coffee, milk, cereals, some fruit, boiled eggs, jams, and bread—quite decent. The beds are comfortable, and the common areas are well decorated and spaced out so everyone can have their own little space if they want. The pillows are a bit old and thin, but you can always ask for a second one, and there’s no privacy curtain.

The hostel had a classic vibe with a spacious common area, a charming old kitchen, and a historic building that sits right next to the port and the start of the nightlife street, plus portable AC in every room and staff who let me drop off my bags before check‑in. The downside? Six long flights of stairs to reach the third floor, the showers are often overcrowded, and the mattresses need replacement.
