RETRO Apartments Bosak Contactless check-in

The accommodation is noticeably older than the photos show. Of the two plates, one was dirty and the other wet. The fridge light didn’t work, and even a ceiling light in the kitchen wouldn’t turn on. The bathroom light over the mirror also failed. The liquid soap had a recommended usage date of 2022 on its label. It’s fine for young people, but I don’t look for this type of lodging anymore; the pictures were at best misleading.

“Lokalita blízko central-super, necítili sme sa komfortne, nemali s tohto ubytovania celkovo dobrý pocit. Na prespatie -”

The location is good, but the air in the room and throughout the building was stale and not very pleasant.

“Non torneremo”

I found the location convenient for getting to the city centre and the apartment was very clean. However, the place was extremely noisy because apartment 103 faced the street, and with no air‑conditioning we had to leave the windows open. Everything felt too basic: no dishcloth in the kitchen, no small cabinet in the bathroom for clothes and other items, no shower facilities—just a hand soap. The smart TV was dead, we messaged the host and got no reply. The pillows were terrible, not even pillows at all. The beds only had mattress protectors and no sheets to cover the corners. It really seemed like a run‑of‑the‑mill apartment trying to make a quick buck. Sad. We won’t return.

The location was great, close to the centre, and I was surprised by how quiet it was, especially since there were many bad reviews about street noise. We had courtyard‑view windows instead of street‑view. The bathroom was clean and nice, but it was missing some shelves for items, and more kitchen equipment would have been nice (there were only two plates). In the bathroom, a razor was on the window, a piece of gum and a scented stick were on the floor, and the room couldn’t be locked from the inside. The kitchen had no dishcloth for the dishes. Otherwise, it was relatively clean.

We rented an apartment in May for one night for five men, close to the city centre, and everything ran on schedule from check‑in onward; the flat was large with a kitchen, appliances, bedding and towels all provided, plus a bathroom with a shower, and the staff were welcoming. There is a paid car park nearby, though the windows faced the road and daytime traffic noise was noticeable.
