“Gerne wieder!”
The Hotel Lärchenhof is a beautiful and well‑maintained place where you feel very comfortable; most of the staff are very helpful and warm, and a heartfelt thank you goes to Hazim, the service manager, and Bekim, who served us for four days – you were amazing!!! The kitchen is incredible, with something for every taste, and if something is missing, the chefs whip up a special dish just for you. The wellness area invites you to relax, and the quiet rooms with separate suites give plenty of space to truly unwind. It’s a fantastic hotel where we’ll gladly spend time again. Unfortunately, not all employees speak good German, so communication was sometimes a bit difficult. What bothered me most was a part‑time helper in the service who spoke little German, was totally unfriendly, and had no idea about service. Plates were handed to me in front of my partner’s face with the word “Da” to accept, and when clearing them, my hand was held with the word “nehmen,” again right in front of my partner. I’m fine with taking or putting down plates if there’s no other option, and I’m happy to clear my own plates if that’s the restaurant’s concept. But in a four‑star hotel where the entire service team serves and clears from the right side, is courteous, smiles, asks if everything is fine, and never leaves an empty plate for more than three minutes, a person like that stands out negatively, which is very disappointing.
