Everything was amazing—worth a five‑star rating. The welcome, the tranquility, the food, the setting, the beach—all were magnificent, and I hope to return!

“Not our vibe”

The beachside spot is great, and the staff always help out. Parking is available. The bungalow itself feels a little worn, and we didn’t realize there’s no air conditioning and only one fan, so it got scorching at night. The power cut a few times, which stopped the fan too. All the windows open at the top make it very noisy, and turning on the lights in the evening invites insects. Sitting or lying outside is unpleasant because flies swarm in seconds. The bathroom is in bad shape, and the showerhead doesn’t work. Plus, construction next to our bungalow made us leave early.

“Verblijf verdoet niet aan de verwachtingen.”

The location by the sea was fine, and there were nice eating spots outside. It wasn’t hygienic; mold was on the fan above the bed. The shower didn’t heat up, and the Wi‑Fi wasn’t available in the bedroom. This stay was also pretty pricey compared to other stays in Sri Lanka.

Above the sea, an incredible place for relaxation and calm. The infrastructure and cleanliness could be a bit better, but given its seaside, forest setting, it’s understandable that everything isn’t perfect.
