The family-run City Pension is located in Vienna city centre, a 2-minute walk from Saint Stephen´s Square, Schwedenplatz and Kärntner Straße Shopping Street. Free WiFi is available. The U1 and U3 metro stops are only 50 metres away, and the U4 metro stop is 150 metres away. The location was great, rooms were cleaned daily, and self‑check‑in was easy and worked well. Construction work in other parts of the building and scaffolding caused a bit of dust and paper coverings in the stairs, but that didn’t really bother us.

The spot was spot on for both my work and our vacation, and the room was spotless with everything functioning properly, plus plenty of hot water for the shower – highly recommend. The only hiccup was the building’s painting work, with scaffolding outside our room, but it was a minor, temporary distraction.

The hotel is in an amazing central location where you can walk to many places and public transport is close to the spot. You can check in by yourself without any hassle. The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh. I never felt unsafe, so you can stay here with peace of mind. The only downside would be if they provided paper slippers.

I liked everything. Very comfortable and well equipped. The only issue was that the elevator was very small.
