The pool and surroundings were nice and the room was spacious, but the reception was a bit lacking – not very warm or clear, we got little information about the stay and facilities, like no breakfast details. The shower in the bathroom leaked so hard that the whole room got wet. There were no curtains, so I woke up at 6 am to the light. The breakfast advertised as very good turned out to be very limited (coffee, toast with jam from a packet, fruit with yogurt). They say they offer yoga and breathing exercises, but no info was given even though we were asked about interest and said yes. Finally, you can eat and drink, but prices are high for Mexican standards (300 pesos for a pizza) and the food was mediocre.

Yoga with Paola was a special treat each morning, Guadelupe is an expert massage therapist, and the reception staff were very attentive. I enjoyed cycling to the public beaches through Jaguar Park, which is now free.

“Teleurstellend, niet om terug te gaan”

Dicht bij de ruïnes van Palenque. 1/Ontbijt, voldeed niet aan een continentaal ontbijt. Slecht ee potje granola met yoghurt en wat fruit en toast met jam zeer teleurstellend 2/ onze kamer lag aan de straatkant en iedere auto,brommer, vrachtwagen die daar voorbij reed hebben we gehoord, gevoeld en gezien. De kamer had geen gordijnen en alle lichten van het verkeer schijnde in onze kamer. Hierdoor totaal geen goede nachtrust. Er zijn betere hotels in de buurt die prijsqualiteit veeeel beter zijn
