We found this place oddly funny—reminded us of something from Stranger Things, a true 1980s hotel vibe. The TVs looked like museum pieces, and the pink bathroom suite brought back childhood memories. The location was decent, with plenty of spots nearby, close to a 7/11 and restaurants, and it was cheap. The only issue was that you couldn’t really tell if it was clean because everything was so old, and the beds were hard.

The place sits in the middle of town and is easy to walk around, yet the property looks worn out and needs a lot of love; the host was very nice, walked us up to the room, and made sure we were all set.

The location is fine, but there are no facilities—no coffee maker downstairs, the wifi is terrible, and everything from the TV to the rest of the room feels old and rough.
