We stayed in Caldera for only two days, all‑inclusive, and loved it despite very bad weather, storms, and rain; fantastic food, service, and hospitality made our stay unforgettable ❤️

“Mixed reviews from us”

The room was comfortable, well‑equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel sat right on the beach with several pools in a quiet neighbourhood, and there were shops and restaurants nearby. Besides the buffet, there was another dinner restaurant (one free dinner included) with fantastic service and great food, and a fun entertainment program with face painting and a mini disco on the 6th and 7th evenings. The water park was larger than expected, well kept, and lots of fun. Overall the areas were clean and neat, and our cleaner did a great job. We initially received the wrong room, which was small, depressing, and in urgent need of updates (a huge old closet with only four hangers, paint crumbling off the walls, etc.). The team arranged a new room after 1.5 days, which was a million times better. Even cleanliness was good, but we had several towels that were stained. The buffet offered a nice variety of food, but later we noticed undercooked fish and pork, and issues with glasses and plates not being completely clean. With the water park closed due to bad weather, there were no pools with slides elsewhere in the hotel area, which was unfortunate. The beach has small rocks, and the water gets deep quickly, so it’s less suitable for small kids. Information on restaurant opening times, menus, and entertainment could be easier to access; we eventually found the hotel’s app ourselves.

The hotel is good, one of the best 4‑star hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The large area has a sea view, and there are many different pools; the water was warm in August. The aqua park is very pleasant with slides for both small and large children, and in August there were almost no queues. The food is very tasty and varied. Room cleaning was at a good level. You can confidently go to this hotel for a holiday. Thank you for the warm welcome! The only thing to add is an extra hour of the aqua park’s operating time, another bar in the main pool area, and more animation in the hotel; the evening program was also sparse and held by the pool, not on the main stage.
